Paladin Data Corporation, a leading provider in the Independent Hardware & LBM technology industry, announced this week the promotion of two long-time employees – Ryan Dunn and Tyler Klein. Dunn, the company’s chief operations officer (COO), will take on many day-to-day management responsibilities from CEO Mike Williamson, and Klein will assume Dunn’s duties as operations director. The moves allow Williamson to focus his energy and attention on charting the company’s future path.
Dunn began with Paladin in 2008 as a customer service representative. A year later, he became the company’s first project manager. He was promoted to chief operations officer in December 2017 where he managed several departments and guided the company’s internal training program. His new duties put him in charge of the daily management of Paladin at its Bend, Oregon headquarters.
Klein started as a customer service representative in 2009 and joined Dunn on the company’s project management team where he has served for 10 years. In that position, he worked closely with business owners to improve their retail technology and simplify their operations. During his time with Paladin, Klein has also managed the company’s User Group, produced marketing blog posts, managed invoicing, and served it the training department. Klein will now be supervising the company’s fulfillment, project management, Managed Services, and information technology departments.
Williamson joined Paladin as general manager in 2007 and for the past 12 years has guided the daily operations and business development of the company. Funneling his daily duties allows Williamson to concentrate his time on strategic planning and further development of industry partnerships.
“Paladin is growing rapidly, and these moves allow us to more efficiently lead our company and more effectively serve our customers. Ryan and Tyler have demonstrated their abilities and versatility by serving many roles in the company outside of their job descriptions. That has given them the experience necessary to lead us to future success,” Williamson said.
