As we inch closer to Christmas, there’s one more way to personalize your holiday display this year. For the first time ever, The Home Depot has partnered with the White House Historical Association to sell the 2022 White House Christmas ornament on Home Depot’s website, homedepot.com.

The American and veteran-made ornament was originally created in 1981, with the help of First Lady Nancy Reagan. For the past 41 years, each ornament design honors individual presidents or specific White House anniversaries. This year, it features the White House gingerbread house, originally introduced by First Lady Pat Nixon. Gingerbread house displays have since become an annual tradition at the White House.
These unique collectables not only add something special to your holiday decor, but also serve as historic teaching tools for all to enjoy.
As a new member of the Corporate Leaders Council, The Home Depot is proud to support the nonpartisan White House Historical Association’s mission to preserve the White House and its history, fund the operations of the White House Visitor Center, and provide classroom resources to students and educators across the United States. The Home Depot’s support will help the Association promote its most enduring message – that the White House belongs to the American people.
